Periodic Posting In GL

These are from COS/WIP posting. When you receive a PO, it is not posted to
the GL until you run "Capture COS/WIP". You can look at the detail of that
posting by clicking the Cost Transaction box in Account Tracker.

I have been assigned to help out in some accounting areas and have come
across something in the GL that I can't explain. When going into a
specified GL account (Manufacturing Supplies), I see some random entries
labeled "Periodic Posting Process". All others in this account are invoices
or payments and can be tracked, these entries have no receiver or any
further documentation for me to track down further. Can anyone explin what
these may be?

Items purchased on a purchase order. For detailed listings go to Job
Management-reports-Inventory/WIP- run it for the period of time and the G/L
# desired. S
