Phantom Demand and Allocations

Do you have Completed jobs (not closed) that may have been short issued on some material requirements?

That can cause what you describe under the right conditions.

We are currently on 6.1 and have the same issue. I have search the
system looking for a way to figure out where the demand is coming from
and can not come up with anything.

Try running conversion 6430 - Recalculate Part OnHand/Allocation
summaries - from Admin Tools. It might clear them up. (Don't know if
this is available on v6).

Try running 6430 in the Database Conversion Programs. Doesn't hurt to
run this one every couple of months.
