I have a site that was told not to use Phantom parts when they went to 10 prior to my coming on board as their internal support. The consultant told them there was nothing but problems. Is anyone on 10 and using Phantom parts? I have used them both in 8 and 9 with no issues. I am about to test it out in 10 but thought I would ask if anyone is having issues or was told the same thing

We use Phantom parts. We are multi-site and our upgrade from E9 to E10 caused us significant problems with the phantoms until we went up to E10.1.600.20.
All of the problems were with multi-site and jobs. We could not pull phantoms with part revision in Plant B into a Job for part in Plant A. Also, MRP jobs choked in planning same jobs. As you know, Phantoms are just a collection of parts so this was unexpected. Our phantom parts are needed in multiple sites.
Now however, we’re good to go and they works ok for us.

thanks for the update. We are on Version 10.1.600.25 now so I am going to test as it should be good.
