We priced CISCO last spring, it was double in cost of standard PBXs, hand
sets were around $450 each. They also wanted all new network Switch's so if
your moving into a new building it may be worth looking at. We put in a
Nortel Norstar, went to a T1 with DID, voice & fax integrated into Exchange.
Outbound faxing by NetsatisFAXion. The phone guys know the PBX but don't
have a clue about desktop integration. My phones use the same cat 5 cabling
the computers and printers use. I also do the basic phone adds, moves, name
changes myself.

Has anyone reviewed the CISCO VoIP phone system ?
Or, has anyone found a phone system that is setup a bit better the what I
have described about the NEC system limitations ?
If so, any ideas about the scalability and pricing ?
