Planner's workbench

What shows up in the planners workbench are material requirements direct to
sales order that need a job created.

Thank you for your response.
Although that will work, that is not the process we want to use. It is my
understanding that unfirm jobs should appear on the planners work bench. Am
I incorrect?

Bill

I am having problems getting the planning workbench to populate with
new unfirm jobs from new sales orders entered. the part set, sales
order entry and mrp run appears to be correct. i am sure this is user
error but can not idenify it. If any one else has had simular issues
and resolved them please send some advice.

thank you very much,
Bill

Hi Bill,
MRP-jobs (those are the unfirm-jobs) should NOT appear in the Planners
Workbench. I think for your purpose you should use the 'Job Status
Maintenance'-program. That works great!
