Is anyone out there using the Plant Cost ID? We have multiple plants and we are in the process of implementing the Plant Cost ID to be able to separate out costs by plant. I had previously written a dashboard (when we were at company level for cost) to display all parts by warehouse and bin, with quantity on hand and cost. My dashboard balanced to the penny with the stock status report, but you could run the dashboard once instead of having to go into each plant to run the Stock Status. Much faster and a great way for users to check stock quickly.
The issue I am now having is that I need to isolate the specific plant cost and the parts keep repeating. I have tried every combination of parent/child tables, as well as creating a custom field at the plant level to match the plant to the warehouse code. I get it close, but then it doesn't balance. Has anyone out there run across a similar issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
