Plant telecom solutions

I’m starting to research options for replacing our plant telecom system. Our current system is a Panasonic hybrid system. We’ve migrated all our deskphones to IP models, but have a number of SLT extensions in use for things like cordless phones and fax machines. I fully manage this system and we would like to be able to manage the new system in-house.

I’m hesitant to move to a hosted solution due to the risk of total failure in the event of an internet outage, though I do need to support off-site extensions for remote employees.

What’s working well for you?

We’ve used Panasonic units in our warehouse - TGP600 bases and TPA60/65 handsets. Reasonable cost/coverage/performance. Our phone setup is hosted but we’ve had 99.999% uptime with our SDWAN setup…more likely to get hit by a power outage than internet.
