I am on 4.00.901
We just noticed that the Miscellaneous charges on the PO Form are not being
added to the total cost. I wasn't sure why, but our form is modified, so I
went to check the original PO form that came with vantage and I get errors
when I try to view it (from within crystal). So I tried to do a verify and
there are lots of fields that are not properly mapped. Does anybody have a
PO Form that works with this release/patch level that they could email to
me???
Thanks!

Sarah,
Did you clean out the c:\vntgwork directory before you tried to load the vantage PO form that came with vantage.
Also you should do a print preview with the default vantage PO form this will load the DBF files in the work directory.
Then load and verify the database report in Crystal.
I hope this help

Thanks, that worked!

In Vantage 4.0, the PO form doesn't print in the correct Due Date
order. Has anyone modified the Crystal Reports form for this? I
contacted support and they sent me a modified version, but although
it fixes that problem, it has another problem.
TIA

I think you can just add the release dates to the sort sequence in your
working PO form. Podetail.PORel I think it is?? What is botched up in the
updated one they sent you? We're supposedly doing the 4.0 update soon now
(after a 7 month delay) and I'd like to make sure it's not in mine!

Wayne,
In the updated one they sent me, the whole bottom half is shaded in,
rather than just the header line. I tried changing that, but didn't
have much luck. Seems like it would be simple, but somehow I
couldn't get it there.

Right click on the section and click on Don't Suppress or Don't Hide. That will enable the section to be viewed.

I think I remember this problem on our PO form. If it's the same, the
problem is that the shaded box around the headings for the lines is
overlapping onto the details for those lines, thereby shading the entire
bottom of the PO. To fix this, open the PO form in Crystal and extend the
PHe section so that it is a little longer than the box in the section. This
solved the problem for us.

Ted,
The shading occurs in the printing of a PO. The detail is there,
it's just all printed within a box, like the header line is.

Dumb question. The page number on my P.O. form stays at 1 no matter how
many pages there are. I'm not a big crystal user, could any give me an idea
on how to fix this.
Thanks.

I did the upgrade to version 5.2 over the weekend, and now, the
Purchase Orders have a gray background. Does anybody know how to get
the background changed back to white? It is nearly impossible to get
the faxes to look right with the gray background.
Thanks.

This is generally a printer driver issue. Epicor suggests using LaserJet II
drivers if my memory serves me correctly.

You can edit the POForm.rpt file, which is located in your
x:\vantage\userform folder. In the form, select the areas that have the
gray color and change the format for the field. Probably there is a
background setting, which you can set to "white".

I ran into this on several machines
One system it woudl look fine
The next it would have the gray backfround
You need to do a couple of things
Frist Make sure you are using a PCL5 driver instead of the PCL6
Then log out of vantage
Navigate to your Vantage directoy - Depending on the machine (AKA
your have report builder on it or something else) you can have up to
three directories
Open the folders and clean them all out
Empty your recylce BIN
Go back to Vantage
Print the PO and try printing it with the print preview option ON
Print Preview then print it
Hope that helps

Unfortunately, I tried this, and it didn't work. Thanks for the
suggestion, though.
