PO Printing problem

I've had trouble with PCL 6 drivers on a variety of printers (from many
windoze applications) and no longer bother even loading them - just go
straight for the PCL 5. Also had trouble with an HP 2100 not ejecting
Progress style reports from Vantage; using a 6P driver for vantage
printing cured that. Also, printers have different sized page borders or
margins where they are mechanically unable to print. On some, like your
HP-II, I think it's as big as 0.25" Setting your Crystal page margins
large enough to accommodate all printers may help.

Vantage 4 specific problems -- The Crystal 7 DLLs that were installed with
mine were NOT the latest & greatest "Maintenance 1" release from
SeaGate. I replaced them with my own, as they had cured some other
problems in my 3.0 installation.

Are you using a modified, or stock 4.0 PO form ?

We are experiencing a printing problem with P.O.'s after upgrading to 4.0.
On certain HP Laser printers, we get a gray screen the covers the entire
detail of the P.O. -- only on certain HP printers, for example, they print
fine on an HP 4050, and HP 6p, but the problem shows up on an old HP II and
a new HP 2100TN. On the 2100TN, I tried the PCL5e, PCL6, & PS drivers. The
gray screen problem went away using the PCL5e driver, BUT then the line
numbers randomly disappeared! (even though they show up in the print
preview) Has anyone else seen this, and/or fixed it?
