PO suggestions different price merging

Hello y’all,

We found a behavior in generating PO from suggestions. We use dynamic attributes to define the dimension of metal sheets. Some custom dimensions are priced differently by our suppliers, and I thought that we could change the price in the suggestion, and then generate the PO from it.

But if we have multiple suggestions for the same part with different price, the generated PO will have only one line with the higher price of the suggestions, where we would like to have different lines for each prices.

Is there a way to do this ? a company configuration settings or something ?

If anyone needs an update, one way to accomplish this is to have the part class checks “Split PO Line”

This makes it that different PO lines are created for each PO suggestions that has a different comment.

In our case we set the comment to the price when clicking the “Buy” button in suggestions, and ignore this comment in the reports.
