Has anyone out there created a pop-up in Vantage MES 8.03. What we are
looking to do is when the plant employees sign out it will prompt them
with a pop up box that says "Were you injured at work today?" They will
answer Yes or No. If they answer yes it will tell them to see the HR
Department. If they click NO it will clear the box and sign them out.
Not sure if I have to have customization do this or if this is something
we can customize ourselves. I appreciate anyone's insight on this one.

You can do this.

Do a little research on the MsgBox() function.

If they were hurt do you want it to not allow them to clock out?
If so it will require more than what is below.

This might help get you started. You are going to have to use a
button click event for the Clock out button.

Private Sub MESMenu_Load(ByVal sender As object, ByVal args As
EventArgs) Handles MESMenu.Load

btnClockOut = ctype(csm.GetNativeControlReference("d87c63c4-b79e-
4bae-9c4d-f4f9c958d931"),EpiButton)
End Sub

Private Sub btnClockOut_Click(ByVal Sender As Object, ByVal Args As
System.EventArgs) Handles btnClockOut.Click

Dim drClockOut As DialogResult = MessageBox.Show("Where You Hurt at
WOrk Today","Choose Yes or
No",MessageBoxButtons.YesNo,MessageBoxIcon.Question)
If drClockOut = DialogResult.Yes Then
msgbox("Report to HR")
End If

End Sub

You need to declare the btnClockOut "variable" in the top of the code
with:

Private WithEvents btnClockOut As EpiButton

You'll see other similar statements at the top of the code. Add it
there.
