Possible Problem with 814 patch and TT5 data collecti

Darren,
Thanks for the heads-up on the problem with the TT5s. I'm having enough
problems already without more added into the bunch!
Which Progress patch did you install?

collection.

Users with a TT5 system may experience a problem after applying the 814
patch. After doing so today we started getting the following error when
setup personel attempted to clock out of production setup procedures:

Starting position for substring, overlay, etc, must be 1 or greater (82).

This error occurs at the gateway and locks up the TT5 terminal. Since we
only have one terminal I can not confirm whether it will lock up others.
Based on the status of the gateway I would guess that it would take down
the
rest.

I have contacted tech support and they will check into it as soon as they
get 814 loaded on their computers. I also loaded the Progress patch this
morning, thus it could be also be the problem. Basically, I would wait to
apply either until this is taken care of or further details are
researched.

Please advise if you are not having this problem and have performed one or
the other of these updates.

Thanks
