I am working on a requirement where Equipment Meter Reading record needs to be created when a Issue Material is done. A part representing the equipment has been set up as a non quantity bearing part to enable recoveries to a different plant. In the Equipment Maintenance, I have created a UD Field to assign the Part record to the Equipment record.
What needs to be done now is when an Issue Material is done for the part for which there is an Equipment record, the meter reading has to be updated with the Transaction Quantity.
This is to be able to track the equipment operating hours to trigger maintenance.
Any help in getting this done would be appreciated.
