# Posting issue in new install of E10 **Category:** [Epicor ERP 10](https://www.epiusers.help/c/e10/5) **Created:** 2016-10-25 12:12 UTC **Views:** 1423 **Replies:** 3 **URL:** https://www.epiusers.help/t/posting-issue-in-new-install-of-e10/35941 --- ## Post #1 by @ckrusen When I try to post an AR Invoice, the task ends with an error. The details of the error (entry 3) are too long to post, but start with: > `Program Ice.Services.Lib.RunTask raised an unexpected exception with the following message: RunTask: There is at least one compilation error.` I had to run the GL Control import the otherday, as none of the GL Control types were setup during installation. I did it via the Conversion Workbench. Besides setting the GL accts, was I required to do anything else after that import? In GL Control Maintenance, do I have to specify a GL acct for the contexts that aren't required? Or can I leave them blank? Is the following okay? Calvin --- ## Post #2 by @E102016 Calvin, I just went thru this with our consultant last week and for us he had us direct all the other account to the suspend account at this level. --- ## Post #3 by @balmon Calvin, I'm not on 10 so I can only say what I have seen and experienced in 9, but hopefully it will be of some help. I'm not sure that error is a balancing error, it seems more like something isn't setup properly yet. Two places I would start: 1. If you go back to the AR invoice group on the summary page is there a review journal number showing anywhere? if so open with review journal entry and see what that says. 2. Make sure you have the right GL control codes setup. you should a default one for the whole company that goes to suspense accounts. And then they should be scattered throughout other programs based on what you are doing. I would start by having a more specific one on the Customer Table that goes where you want them to go. You should be able to leave them blank, it won't cause any issues unless the program tries to reference one of the account contexts that you have left blank. In this case you GL won't balance and epicor won't let it post. Hope that helps some. -Bobby --- ## Post #4 by @amaragni no you really dont need to specify gl accounts unless the posting rules expects it and even then - if it missing it will goto review r just not post ... NOT an error. i would reload your POSTING RULES for the AR INVOICE TYPE (or all ) --- **Canonical:** https://www.epiusers.help/t/posting-issue-in-new-install-of-e10/35941 **Original content:** https://www.epiusers.help/t/posting-issue-in-new-install-of-e10/35941
