I’m trying to understand how the posting rule is working.
How does Epicor determine which Account Context to retrieve in Functions?
See attached screen shot, how does the “Given” Context work.
If you look at the Function with “Given Context” in the name, it takes a parameter input.
I selected one of the posting rules at random:
In this case it’s the Post Material Cost rule, and you can see that it passes in “Variance Material” as it’s context.
This clarifies my question.
