If a part has a raised Nonconformance, EPICOR makes a purchase suggestion for the quantity of it. I want to prevent the purchase of that suggestion while the nonconformance for that part exists.
The exception is because it is possible that the nonconformance is released, and at the same time, the purchase of the new suggestion is made, which would result in purchasing twice
I think that the easiest way to handle this is to provide the buyer the information they need to ignore it. Whether that is a separate report/dashboard that they can run to see where on hand inventory is or even adding it to the PO Suggestion screen. My preference in the past was to add it to the PO Suggestion screen.
I think I added up the quantity of a part that is on a NonConformance or DMR. It was 5 years ago, so don’t entirely remember. But I know I added more data to the screen for the buyer to see.
