Price list for part

We only use these a bit, so I'm not too familiar, but here are some things
to check:

Make sure the vendor the PO is to is the same as the vendor set-up in your
price list.
Make sure your price list effective date is prior to your PO date and your
price list expiration date is after you PO date.
Make sure your PO is for as many pieces as required per your minimum Qty or
that you have a base price and minimum price included.

can anyone explain me how thsi pricelist for part works.
Because here, we already have a pricelist setup for a part, but when
we add apurchase order and add the part to the PO . it doesn't show
the price for the part everytime we have to fill it in PO.
We aree not sure what we are missing.
