Print icon grayed out

I have a user when tires to print the printer icon is grayed out on the slide out. I have even logged in on their computer and I have the same issue.

I have checked that local printers are installed an working (can print from other places)

I have confirmed Edge Agent is installed and running. I even opened the tool to see the printer selected and did a test print… SUCCESSFUL

We are on 2022.2.32 and using the web browser.

Any thoughts?

For all reports? Or just one, say a Purchase Order…that isn’t approved yet?

Anything we try to print. He is trying to print a SO Pick List and I also tried an Order.

Does the user have edge agent installed? that is the go between to reach printers from the browser.

Yes, I have verified it is installed and running properly. I have opened the edge agent and verified the printer is selected as default and I can successfully print test page from edge agent.

Even going directly to SO Pick List I get the same issue.

Were you ever able to get this figured out? We have the same issue. Printer Icon one print forms is grayed out. Currently working with Pack Slips and Order but have tested on many other screens. We have tested on many machines and users.

Possible workaround…if you have network printers configured in Printer Maintenance…try Network Print under the three-dot menu and send the output that way. Or maybe try Print Preview - see if you can redirect from there.

Have you tried Edge Agent Diagnostics? Find the Agent icon in the system tray, right click, select Diagnostics…

when this happens I just usually reinstall it. :woman_shrugging:
