Print Preview Error

Thanks everyone for your info.

Actually we were able to finally figure this out.

It was an old video card driver. Updating the video driver completely
resolved the problem.

Hello all,

Has anyone else run into a problem where the print preview of
standard reports seems incomplete, but when it is sent to the printer
it prints out fine.

We did our 404A upgrade last weekend and have only a handful of
machines that are having this problem.

This is happening with all reports we have tested (standard or
customized) on the machines affected.

Has anyone else ever seen anything like this?

Epicor Technical Support is stating that it has never been reported,
so it must be something in our environmentÂ…

Thanks in advance for anyone with suggestions.

Jeremi,

"Epicor Technical Support is stating that it has never been reported,
so it must be something in our environment..."

Hmmm...heard that a few times myself on our issues, just to later find
out it gets "fixed" in a later release.

BTW, we see that in our 404B environment running Progress, so don't feel
like you're alone. Generally, sub-totals don't show in preview, then
are displayed fine on the printed output.

Hello,
Â
I have been working with technical support for a while about this problem. I finally resolved the problem by getting more ram on the server and turning off the antivirus for all vantage files on the clients and server.Â
Â
I no longer have this problem.
