Wayne and all:

As an experiment, when I rolled out 4.0 a month ago, I installed the
printers as what they actually are (HP LaserJet 6L) on several work
stations. So far, no complaints except the run-off on some progress reports
that you addressed a few days ago. And I still think that is a problem in
progress/vantage-the only time I seem to encounter that printing a few lines
on a page then moving on is when I have extensive labor notes in production
detail or labor detail reports. Still thinking about that one though.

I don't know if anyone noticed, but Vantage now supports printer drivers for
the LaserJet II, III and all the way up to 5!!

the LaserJet II, III and all the way up to 5!!

Wow! In one swoop they've moved ahead EIGHT YEARS! ... to about 1995 :(

Actually, the big changes came about with the 4 series (those were the
first PCL 5, right?) So this probably means all the current ones actually
work with native drivers now.
