Printer settings for Vantage 4.0

Howdy,

Try setting up the printer on a server then share it.

Have your workstation print to the shared printer queue instead of directly
to the IP address of the printer.

I would also check and see if the printer properties "bi-directional"
options are selected and if yes, then disable bidirectional communications.

Good Luck,

Charles

Is there anyway to make an adjustment to avoid this problem?
When a print job is sent form XP,W2K, or 98 to a Sharp Printer (has a
static TCP/IP address), if there is no paper or another job is ahead
of it, the pc freezes up then completely drops me out of Vantage.
Any ideas?
