We have been using Kinetic browser for a few months without major issues. Today, the shipping person couldn’t print a packing slip. At customer shipment entry, we click on the print icon, and it should slideout a print panel, but nothing ever happens. In the background I can see this going on, so I think it is trying to show the panel, but we never see it. I never see any activity in the Network tab, when I click print.
I did this first on her shipping PC, and reproduced on my PC. Other print buttons work fine, like the purchase order print.. I can see the slideout, and the print works perfectly.
We are having the same issue but on multiple forms, including quote and order tracker/entry.
All users affected
Desktop/Browser/Incognito all affected.
Have a urgent case open, will let you know if it goes anywhere

Was told our app server needs to be restarted. Getting users out now..

No luck! Other forms still print OK, just no slideout on customer shipment entry print pack slip.
Oh god I just checked, same boat.
Customer Shipment Entry or Tracker. Click Print button and nothing happens.
Mass Print Packing Slips seems ok.
My issue seems limited to any screen with a customer layer on it.
No custom layer on Shipment Entry or Tracker over here.

Can one of you try pressing F12, open DevTools, then right-click the Refresh icon and select Empty Cache and Hard Refresh?
We have had some blank screens after this weekend’s update and that has solved it for us.

Attempted. No change. Printer buttons still doesn’t generate the slideout. Support is getting into our test account now to look into it…

Is the slideout an app (app-open kind of thing)?
If so, check its permissions. Had that with “mass print AR invoices” a while back.

Oh I forgot about that - it was actually an issue in a parent folder!
Aha! We figured it out.
First, Mass Print AR Invoices is apparently both a standalone app AND the app that the slide-out panel uses in AR Invoice Tracker. Got that?
Apparently in Kinetic, the slide-out panel INHERITS the permissions of the folder in which Mass Print AR Invoices resides.
So even though Mass Print AR Invoices was supposed to be available to all users, the folders above it were not.
So I moved it.
I put it in Financial Management
I opened up Financial Management to all users …

I see I read the other posts wrong. Well rats, sorry.
Capable to promise, order job wizard also not working.. even on base layers
I’m sure other slideouts as well, can’t wait to hear the reports..
