Printing Error

Thank you! I looked on Epicor's website and couldn't find anything.
ARGH! Search engines and I don't always get along. I will be updating
his IE.

This is what Epicor has on their website:
Details:
PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: [NL][NL]A yellow triangle with an exclamation point
appears when trying to print.[NL][NL][NL]PROBLEM RESOLUTION: [NL][NL]The
'Triangle' error is a conflict between Progress and Microsoft. Some
possible
solutions are listed below which are actual customer
solutions.[NL][NL][NL]1. Check the spool settings for the printer and
make
sure they are set to bi-directional. [NL][NL]2. If someone has been in
Word,
there may be some conflicting files causing the error to occur. Opening
another Vantage session would cause Progress to write out new files,
which
may resolve the error.[NL][NL]3. With Vantage still open, go into
Start/Settings/Printers, print a test page, then go back into Vantage to
see
if you can now print.[NL][NL]4. Install a new print driver or video
driver
to see if this resolves the issue.[NL][NL]5. This error occurs more
frequently on older Win95 workstations. Upgrade to Win98 or try
installing
Internet Explorer 4.0 or 5.0 which will upgrade the workstations DLL's.

Has anyone else seen this?

Vantage 5.1
Windows 95
HPLJ 8100

Person prints fine all day then all of a sudden when he tries to print a
blank box comes up with a yellow triangle and exclamation point. You
hit OK. Then you have to get out of Vantage and get back in to be able
to print again.

Hi Juliet,

We are on 5.1 135 patch and have win98 pcs.

I have a problem like yours with win98.

I have found that if you reboot the win98 the printing

Problems go away.

Good luck,
