I solved it by using the document send by Mr McWilliams, tnx for
that.........
Parts of the document combined with my input results in the following
guideline for modifying the print submenu.
0. Write down the message when opening the second application (often
used for reporting)
Key: Epicor.Mfg.UIRpt.packingSlipPrint (=key1)
Calling App: Epicor.Mfg.UI.CustShipEntry (=CallingApp)
I will reference to the first as (*key1)
to the second as (*CallingApp)
1. Create a Sub Process entry
---------------------------------------------------
* Log into a standard 8.0 session
* Go to System Management >> Utilities >> Sub Process Maintenance
* Choose File >> New
* Enter a unique Process ID (These all need to start with UD,
i.e. UDpackingslip)
* Enter a Name (i.e. User definced packingslipmenu)
* Parent Process = PROCESS
* Give it a unique sequence number (i.e. 10, 20, 30, etc.)
* Make sure the Enable checkbox is checked
* Program Type = Non Menu Item
* Program = Epicor.Mfg.UIRpt.packingSlipPrint.dll (Browse to
it or type it in) (*key1)
* Customization = name of custom you previously named (should
be in the drop-down list)
* Click Save and exit out of Sub Process Maintenance
2. Create a Process Calling entry
----------------------------------------------------
* Go to System Management >> Utilities >> Process Calling
Maintenance
* Choose File >> New
* Process Called Reference = Epicor.Mfg.UIRpt.packingSlipPrint
(*key1)
* Called From = Epicor.Mfg.UI.CustShipEntry (*CallingApp)
* Menu ID = UDpackingslip (Menu ID create in section #1)
* Save and close Process Calling Maintenance

We converted to version 4.0 this past weekend, and all went well except we
can't print packing slips. When we try to print them we get an error message
that file C4f0x.DLL was not found. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
