Printing Part Tag to Label Printer

If you have not done the expert yet, I have managed the settings needed to
make this happen for smaller labels, let me know off list, and I will give
you details on the setup.

Dick,
Give a shot running the report expert and go into the label section. See if
setting the label size helps anything. I think this may be the key to the
error.
Good luck,

Thanks for all responses. I tried everything recommended and am still
receiving the error.
I even tried eliminating detail bands to see how small I need to get
before the object(s) will fit
on the page. I've asked epicor for the recommended patch (I cannot find
it on crystal's web site)
and I will just keep messing around until I get it going. Thanks again,

has anyone been able to print the part Tag in data collection to a label
printer?
I have a Brother LQ500 with a shipping label (2.6 X 4") that I am trying
to use.
In design mode in Crystal Reports when I attempt to preview, I get a
"page size was
not large enough to format the contents of an object in the report"
error. The
Crystal Report knowledgebase does not have much to say about this error.
Epicor
states that I have the wrong patch level of Crystal Reports which is the
reason for
the error. I have 8.5.3.937 and should have 8.5.2.718 according to
Epicor.
If anyone have any information regarding the above, I would sure like to
hear from
you.

regards,

You may have to go into the Printer Setup and make sure that the paper size
you desire is setup for that printer. Next when you build the report in
Crystal go into PRINTER SETUP in crystal and make sure the selections for
your report are correct. Also, things get funny with Portrait and Landscape
settings. You may only have to "FLIP" your settings to clear the error.

I've received that error before on our Packing slip. Our packing
slip is set up to only print the page header once. The comments are
in the page header and if the comments exceed the first page which
they tend to do cause they are set to "Can Grow", I get the error.
I don't know if that will help but it's something to think about.

Try to change the paper or margin settings that sounds like where the error
is.
