Printing report error 599 error code

This has worked for me on several occasions. Glad for the clarification of
what has gotten crossed up for no apparent reason. Thanks, Troy.

Take the report that is working, save it to a new name. Then modify that
'NewName' report to look like the one that doesn't work. You can even copy
and paste fields from the broken report into the one that works if needed.
Do this step by step and see if the report still works along the way. If
there is a step that causes things NOT to work, that will tell you where the
problem is. But my hunch is, you may get it to be just like the broken one,
and it will actually work. Sometimes in Crystal a form will get the SQL
statement screwed up through certain changes and the only way to make it
work is to start from scratch, building the report again step by step.

It may take some time, but at this point it sounds like it's worth a try.

vanatage and I also made sure the services where right. If anyone has

I know this link is huge, but this should give you some ideas. Most likely
the error is from some type of permissions issue with WinNT or Windows 2000.

I've had this error before. Have you modified the form in Crystal? You can

Hello,
I am still having a problem. I use Vantage 3.0. I can print other
Sales Oder Forms, I just cant this certain one. I have 2 exact forms,
with the only difference being that the one I need to print up has
what pallet everyting is on. There is only a letter difference
between the 2 forms:
X:\VANTAGE\USERFORM\Soform6b.rpt ( this one will print, No Pallet
info)
X:\VANTAGE\USERFORM\Soform6d.rpt ( D instead of B) This form prints
out palletts. I cant get this one to print. I get the error (Printing
report error..............599 error code.) Im a bit confused why on
wil print but not the other. I even tried to rename soform6d.rpt to
something else. If anyone has and ideas or suggestions please help. I
have used this in the past and it worked fine. Usally all I do is go
into sys> utilites and report style maitence and the just change the
letter on the form from b to d. Thank you,
