Ask Vantage for their helpful document I think it was a short
tutorial for report builder it contained a list of things to do to
make reports run faster. Example when joining tables always make
your first join company:
mfgsys.ladorDtl.Compaty>mfgsys.empbasic.company, then do the joins
for the information you want
mfgsys.ladorDtl.EmployeeNum>mfgsys.empbasic.EmpId. Plus it told you
how to put joins in the right order. When we did the steps that were
recommended all of our reports ran quite a bit faster.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find it on the current Vantage website.
Hope this helps.
