It’s definitly not fixed in 2025.2.7.
Happened to see this post about BAQ issues and had to pause for a second—am I the only one in this room with issues on Default parameters; which refuse to save in Kinetic BAQs, while Classic continues to work perfectly. And to make it more interesting, support doesn’t seems to acknowledge it.
I’ve not noted any Kinetic related issue with BAQ Parameters (I use the Kinetic BAQ UI exclusively)
What specifically happens? You click save and no blue bar appears - no save action? Or it appears, but doesn’t save? …or?
have trackers with default start dates defined, but they show up as blank when run in Kinetic. The same trackers display the default values correctly in Classic
I am on 2025.2.7

Hi, My Education Environment is at 2025.2.7, I duplicated your BAQ and StartDate Parameter is working OK.
I would suggest to try another browser in incognito mode - does it happen there? If not, try to clear your cache, maybe the browser is being helpful here.
select
[Company].[Company] as [Company_Company],
[Company].[Name] as [Company_Name],
[Company].[Address1] as [Company_Address1]
from Erp.Company as [Company]
where (Company.StartDate = @StartDate)
Thank you
Browser cache
strikes again. I was using Edge in private mode and the issue persisted, but magically, switch to Chrome and the default parameter shows up. Surely there must be a way to automatically “cleanse” the cache. Chatgpt says InPrivate mode in Edge doesn’t fully isolate cache!
The expression from the following field now moves up one in the list and now your calculated field has the wrong expression in it
@aosemwengie1 FWIW, I added that one to my ticket. An obvious bug that is easily recreatable.
I think that was fixed a while ago when someone reported that.
If a calculated field is removed, its formula replaces the next calc field … I can confirm this is fixed in 2025.2.6 (just tested it). But sounds like it came back in 2025.2.7. I’ll add this info to my case.
I’ve checked the date, it was fixed in July so from the beginning of 2025.2.
And it still works for me there.
So maybe you do it somehow differently, show me.
Maybe I am confused about which system I tested on. I will test it again.
