With the sunsetting of classic screens, we are working towards converting everything to Kinetic. I opened up one of our product configurators and checked the “Design in Application Studio” box to see what it would look like and immediately saw that the layout I had in the classic config will not carry over to Kinetic. That’s fine, I can work with that. Then I go to look for the Configurator On Load code to see how that came over since it’s kind of lengthy. However, I cannot for the life of me find that section in Application Studio. Please tell me they did not get rid of that for Kinetic configurators. I see an event called “Configurator_OnLoaded”, but not just a regular “OnLoad”. Could someone offer some insight as to where I can find that? We use that section HEAVILY in our classic configurators so really hoping I just haven’t looked in the right spot yet. I have found the On Page Load section. Not sure if I will be able to do the same things in there or not. I knew I was going to have to get used to Events and Application Studio, but definitely was not expecting to lose out on this sort of thing.
Side note: Through reading on this forum, I NOW know that the “Design in Application Studio” box is… “non-refundable”. Really wish there was more of a warning there. Luckily, the configurator I did this for is not currently getting used, but if I had been feeling adventurous with one of the more commonly used configs, that could have been disastrous. (Maybe there was a warning long ago that I disabled?)
