I have some parts that are manufactured in house and kept in stock to be used on Jobs later. We add them to the Job as material. A good chunk of our BOM is these parts. Post inventory, we had to do some quantity adjustments and now I am not able to issue some of these parts under Mass issue despite having quantity in system.
I did check the part entry for such parts and these parts are all set up same. Any idea why this might be happening?
I am able to issue from issue material, it’s only the mass issue to job that’s not working and only few parts are impacted, not all.
yes, it has. I figured out what the issue was. In the Job that specific part has make direct ticked which is why in Mass Issue it was not populating. I unticked and it was all good. Now, I am wondering if this make direct can be disabled on a part level in part entry or not?. I can’t seem to find an option in PART ENTRY to fix this.
If a job has a material that was non-stock when the material was added it will not change the make direct/buy it flag if the part record is changed to stock or vice versa.
