Production alert message

  1. Order Firmed – A sales order was confirmed and converted into a job.
  2. Job Was Cut – Meaning the system created a production job (linked to that order) with materials, operations, and resources.
  3. Purchased Part Quantity Changed – Later, someone modified the required quantity of a purchased material (part) within the job.

Our issue is Production doesn’t automatically know that the material requirement was changed after the job was created

Currently, Customer Service to notify production manually, which is risky (easy to miss). any thoughts?

BPM on JobMtl check related fields are changed when job is released, engineered, not closed?

You mean the sales order with a firmed flag, quantity is changed and the job is released since all their jobs are make to order.

It all ends up on the Job record no? I dont do much with MTO so that’s an assumption.

If not, then yes, BPM on changes at the order level should suffice.
