Production Detail Report - How to add a field?

The Production Detail Report is not based on a BAQ. It is based upon a Report Data Definition and a Report Style.

Go to Report Data Definition and open ProdDtl. Then choose Duplicate Report from the Actions menu. Give your copy a new name like, MyProdDtl.

Then copy the Crystal Report at Reports\ProdDtl.rpt to a new name like MyProdDtl.rpt.

Then Go to Report Style. Open ProdDtl and Create a New Style using your RDD of MyProdDtl and you new CR of MyProdDtl.rpt.

Everything has to be done in a specific order to get the Crystal Report to use your new RDD. It's best if you get the Answerbooks from MyEpicWeb.

You need to copy the Epicor-provided reports and not actually modify them. If you modify the ones provided by Epicor and neglect to rename them, they will be overwritten at your next upgrade.
