Progress 9.1D mfgsys.pf parameters for Vantage 6.1

Charles,
I had the same problem when I went from 5.2 to 6.0. I set our -L from
10,000 to 50,000.
Haven't had any problems since. We have 69 users.
best luck.

Howdy all -

Well our upgrade from 5.0 to 6.1 has been a little worse then expected.

Now it seems once or twice a day a user tries to do something and a new Progress parameter is set too small.

The latest one is the -L

So far I've dealt with -Mm and -n

It's getting really annoying.

We have 30 users with a dual processor server with 4 gb of RAM of which I only want to allocate 1.5 gb of RAM to progress and the rest for OS and other apps.

Could some of you share your parameter file settings both in mfgsys.pf and the Procontrol Explorer for your databases?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Charles
