I ordered for Progress "OpenEdge Development Progress 4GL Handbook". I

am tring to learn the proper syntax and structure of the language.

Hey I have done alittle coding with progress for VB forms and now I
am looking to do one that is a little more complex. Where do you
guys get the commands for coding. I have been just using examples
that you guys have out here and cutting here and pasting there and
tweeking to do what I need but is there a command list out there?
Thanks for the help.

At 1,998 pages (only 1,000 sheets 2-sided) be sure you have lots of paper in
the printer before you leave it running all night. Toner too!

Eric,
I'm in the same boat as you are. I have found some information in the HELP section while I'm in the Procedure Editor. Also, I downloaded the Progress Programmer's Handbook which you can find at www.progress.com.
It gives a lot more detailed information and examples.
