In progress explorer, expand the database in questtion and the right click on the "default configuration" and select properties. Once the properties dialog box opens, the first field will contain the buffer size, lower the number, this will lower the -B value.

I am new to Progress... Where can I find the -B parameter? I know it is
in a setup file, but I am not sure which one.
Thank You,

Subject: [Vantage] Progress Database Will Not Start from the Progress
Explorer Tool
We are running Vantage 8.03 305C and have been running a simulation
class. A user started a global process, and once it was started
everyone got a 4GL disconnect error.
I logged everyone off the database and rebooted my Vantage server. When
the server rebooted all databases started correctly except for the Test
DB that we were working in. I now get the following error when trying to
restart the Test DB:
Error in startup of database localhost\:20931:MfgTest803. Message:
15:42:03 BROKER :**This process terminated with exit code 1. (8619)
(JUNMdg024)
I called tech suppport, but I was forced to leave a message due to an
unusually large call volume.
Does anyone have any idea how I can get this DB restarted??
Thanks,
Lauren Hellings
