In my experience this generally means there is a missing . somewhere.
If you are familiar with the language you should be able to find it.
Can't explain why it just became an issue though.

Subject: [Vantage] Progress Programming ?
Hi All,
I have a program that was running without a problem for over a year.
Suddenly there is an error message "White space after colon
terminates the statement". I can't see where the .p file had been
altered by anybody, but even replaced it with a backup copy with the
same results. Could this error message mean something other than a
problem in the code?
Thanks,
Les
