Progress timeout utility

Mike Podlin's Timeout utility does it really well. $100 and you're done.
(I'm on Vantage 4.0).

Subject: [Vantage] progress timeout utility

We are using the progress timeout utility for vantage. It works the way
it's supposed to. The problem is my bosses (the owner of my company) do not
like it shutting THEM down. They are on me to get it to allow them to leave
it on, but still shut down everyone else after a set time. My boss
suggested having me write a macro or something that every 10 minutes would
somehow refresh his screen so it wouldn't shut him down. I have no idea how
to go about this, so I was wondering if anyone else using this utility has
gotten the same request and figured out a way to do it?

Thanks!
-Sarah

An easy fix. If you allow them access to Office data collection and have
them run it and just minimize it they will not get kicked out. If you let
this secret out then everyone will be in all the time. The data collection
refreshes the time and therefore always seems active to the ClientTimeOut
facility in Progress.

THANK YOU!!!! This is a great solution!
Would a dashboard set to refresh every hour do this for you?
Does the data collection screen refreshing the time do this for you?

Just some idea's.

Double standard?

Track down Mike Podlin - he wrote a nifty time out utility that allows you
to control it by user.
