Progress version 9

I did it when I went live on 4.0 with my core company last October. Two low
traffic companies were running in 4.0 on a NT 4.0 WS box. I needed to
install Server so that necessitated a complete reinstall. Just be sure you
get a COMPLETE backup of the old Vantage and Progress folders before
starting and also do a probkup with the database shut down. Should go
without saying to be sure you end up with the same version/patch level of
the database and Progress before you go home tomorrow. I'd even go so far
as to install the latest patches to both once reinstall is finished. Any
questions, I'll be here till 5:00 pm EST.

We are going to uninstall and reinstall Progress tonight in an effort to get
some things straightened out with our database server. Have any of you guys
done this before? Do you have any insight that we should know?

Thanks
