I love using Access to come up with solutions for Vantage but a BAM
could be a warning solution for this item. I added the following to my
existing BAM that checks for the need date greater than the ship date:
FOR EACH ProdCal no-lock:
if Lookup (string(OrderHed.RequestDate - Date("1/1/99")),
ProdCal.DaysOff, "~~") > 0 then DO:
Message "The Ship Date occurs on a Production Calendar
non-workday." View-as alert-box information buttons ok.
Leave.
END.
END.
Return "Cancel Send":U.

I don't think you can prevent it, and I don't think you can use the
production calendar in a report or query.
What I did here was create a simple Access DB and list all the dates
that we consider holiday's in there. Then I created a sub-report in
the Sales Order Acknowledgement that shows a Warning when a ship date
matches the dates in the Holiday database.
