Project ID

I am not familiar with your situation; however, it sounds that you can
assign the epoxy as a part of the BOM for the methods master and it would be
tracked allocated and issued expensed, etc. based on the Parent part number
and hence traceable to each customer. BOM should / could answer your
dilemma...

Subject: [Vantage] Project ID

I have kept quiet for a while. Would anyone mind making a suggestion or
two? We are now on 5.0 and are trying to get a grasp on things after moving
from 3.0. The latest issue is on assigning project IDs. We have found this
incredibly valuable for creating groups to separate information for our
customers. (not that I can't or haven't done this with report builder
manually already). The problem is we have many parts that are ordered for
several projects at the same time. For instance we have an epoxy that is
used on products we make for 3 customers. Does anyone know of a better
workaround to assign the part to the multiple projects than to create
several releases of the same item, due on the same day? This method
requires to much manual entry and seems to create more work than it saves.
Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks in advance.
