# Proshut.bat file **Category:** [Yahoo Archive](https://www.epiusers.help/c/yahoo-archive/9) **Created:** 2000-10-05 18:50 UTC **Views:** 422 **Replies:** 0 **URL:** https://www.epiusers.help/t/proshut-bat-file/1302 --- ## Post #1 by @system
There was a thread running a couple of months ago about the Proshut.bat file
and using this file along with the UPS shutdown program. I looked at the
.bat file and it look like the file can except up to 9 parameter. (%1
through %9).

Can you just put your SET statement and the _mprshut statement with the
actual parameter in a batch file? Such as:

If "%DLC%"= ="" set DLC=x:\progress
"%DLC%\bin\_mprshut" vantage.db -by -H servername -S vantage

and then have the UPS shutdown program run this file in event of a total
power outage?

Thanks in advance.
