When a PO is created with the inspection radial ticked and it is received we are not seeing burden material. We only see the cost of the part. Does this sound correct. Curious to see if it would apply when it transferred from Ins-Stk but it wasn’t applied. The part has a material burden associated with it so that definitely isn’t the issue. Has any experienced this and what was your course of action?
Welcome @Barbi.Fraser !
I can’t say 100%, but this sounds correct. When a part is received to inspection, it is not in inventory yet. This is because it could be rejected and returned to the vendor. So, this behavior sounds in line with what I would expect.

This make sense what you are saying but once it passes inspection and you transfer from Ins-stk why wouldn’t the burden material rate then calculate to the part?
Oh, I did not catch that part in your original post. Sorry, I’m not that familiar with Material Burden.
@jkane Thank you, I believe I found the answer for part of the question. The material must not be issued from inspection but has to go into stock as I saw the MTL burden amount applied. I just need to now find out how it reacts to a job issuance.
