Purchase Price Variance Report

I was just wondering if anyone has a detailed PPV report that they have
written, that could be reviewed by Purchasing.

We are on 8.03.410.

I have created custom labels in version 9.05.606 and users are able to successfully print labels if they are using the smart client to connect to Epicor. However, we are a hosted/managed site and due to performance issues with the smart client we are moving all users over to Citrix XenApp 6 for connecting to Epicor. I cannot get the labels to print correctly through Citrix. Has anyone run into this issue before? If so, were you able to find a resolution?

Has anyone created a Purchase Price Variance report to compare the PO amount to the standard cost and the PO amount to the invoice? We have developed one that works okay but are wondering if anyone has come up with a report they would like to share. We are on Vantage 803.409A.
I am printing on a 4x2 label and the text prints out rotated and because of this it is really tiny and not legible. I have tried changing the orientation of label, different types of drives and nothing I’ve tried has worked so far.

I'm going from memory, but the LP2844 has two printer languages. One works better with Vantage then the other one. Sorry I can't remember which one that is, but try both and make sure the default setup in the printer is set to the same printer language as the driver.

I am working with a Zebra GX420d printer and was having a really hard time getting tags to print properly. The settings would never save for me. I looked at some Answerbooks and Epicor said to try drivers from Seagull Scientific. Everything worked fine after using that driver instead of the zebra driver. Worth a shot perhaps to try a driver from there.

Have tried changing the settings via the network rather than the printer itself, ie connect via the IP address. If could be the network settings are overiding the actual printer setings.

The printers are all USB and not networked. I have figured out that I can get the labels to print through Citrix correctly if the Zebra label printer is not the default printer on the computer. I have also figured out that if the computer has a Ricoh printer installed on it that the labels will not print correctly even if the label printer is not the default.

Very quirky, but seems to be meeting our immediate needs for now.
