Purchase type KanBan (whse based - not bin based) 8.03.409A: Has

Rob, check to make sure you are authorized to create the release as a buyer
(either you as a buyer or authorized to that particular buyer)

8.03.409A: Has any succeeded in gett

Â
Thanks Mark. I did get that far (and also did the initial receipt required to
kick start the process). After consuming (issue to job requirements) enough qty
to drop me below the set whse Min, this at least (finally) resulted in the PO
showing up as potential resupply in kanban monitor.
No new additional release created (in kanban spec'd qty increments & total that
would bring us back above Min - and I assume if Order to Max is checked, to
bring us to Max).
Just can't get it to autocreate even one (needed) release...
Felt it was a (hollow!) victory just getting KanBan WB to finally acknowledge
and display the whse kanban linked PO# and line! /:o
Any thoughts/advice appreciated.
Thanks
Rob

Rob, its been awhile since I did this, but as I recall you have to have an
approved purchase order with at least one line for the total quantity you need
to maintain. The quantity on the po release must always be more than the Kanban
quantity you want to maintain or it will not auto create the release. If you
have not tried this yet, start there and if it does not work let me know and I
will research what else I did to get it to work

Â
I've read the (double talk) help file & tips from user emails and CANNOT get
purchased type whse kanbans to auto generate a new PO Release wheb conditions
are met that should trigger it.
We are not using Supplier Connect (perhaps the core problem??)
It seems to me some recurring BPM like process should be running to detect the
conditions and do the work - but I'm told 'no'. (True?!?!)
Just about to give up on this: Does ANYONE have a success story (and a 'how
to'!) they can share?
If you're more comfortable, contact me off group directly:

Thanks
