# Purchase U/M vs Inventory U/M

rolls, typically 300 meters, and issue it to jobs in mili-meters. I&#39;ve been<br/>
battling the lack of decimal accuracy since v3. All we do is give continued<br/>
training to or purchasing and receiving people so they know how to deal with<br/>
the inaccurate conversions.<br/>
<br/>
It&#39;s funny (wierd) that some screens in Vantage show 5 or 6 decimal places<br/>
yet other screens (like these conversion fields) only have 3.<br/>
<br/>
Maybe somebody has a valid solution for this?<br/>

The problem is that the factor field does not have enoght decimals to <br/>
do an accurate conversion.  The other problem is that the purchasing <br/>
suggestion gives us a distorted qty of what we should purchase.<br/>

Does anyone have a suggestion or another idea of how we do this?<br/>
