Purchasing in 5.0

I am one of those people that wear many hats. I would find myself
buying and receiving the same items. The "Receipts not allowed"
would be a bad thing for me.

Since the upgrade in 5.0 purchasing buyers now have there hands tie pretty
good with limits and authorized users of that buyer ID. Would anyone else be
interested in seeing receipt entry checking buyerID as well, so a buyer
could not do a receipt to one of their own PO's for accounting auditing? Say
with a check box in the buyer table. "Receipt not allowed."

NO! For us, our buyer is also our Shipper/Receiver, so we would Not want
that option. If that was added, I would hope it would be a user
configurable option and not standard.

control, like I stated: Say

Oh, now I see what you meant by that, I think I read it too fast the first
time. Yes, configurable by buyer for something like that would work fine
for everybody, probably.
Probably a good idea for some companies. It would be alright if it was
a check box, but we wouldn't use it because of our size, trust and need
for the head buyer to help resolve PO issues without causing undue labor
on shipping/receiving, especially when many things come in the front
door.
