Purchasing Mfg Parts Direct - Planning Parameters

We have parts we typically manufacture that have a minimum on hand and a lot size. On a service job, we wanted to purchase this part direct from a supplier. We only want to purchase 1 part, but it is pulling in the planning parameters and making us buy the lot size of the part. This is 10.1.600.11.

Has anyone else had this type of situation and found a workaround? Or if we’re overriding the part in job material to purchase direct, should it ignore the planning parameters for minimum and lot size?

As far as I know, when you change the material on the job to purchase direct, then PO suggestion(s) will be created.

PO Suggestion Qty(s) will includes planning values from the part master
So you may need to change them before you generate PO(s) from the suggestion(s)
