Purge unwanted records

Bob,
It is possible to replace the PO numbers in the system. It requires
changing the PO number and all related PO records from progress without
allowing the triggers to fire. As long as all related records are updated
with the new PO number data integrity would still be maintained.
If you would like to discusst this further, please contact me directly.

Way back in 2.70, we entered some test PO's using the automatic PO
number assign feature. For some reason, we had the starting PO # as
"99999", so when we entered some test PO's they were assigned PO #'s
of "100000" thru "100012". Now we want to start using that feature
again (auto # assign), but we want to start at a much lower #. Of
course because of those test PO's it won't let us start at a number
less than "100012". I've been told on numerous occasions (I'm
stubborn) by Epicor that once PO's are entered and trans. posted
against them (I.E. receipts, invoices, etc.), that the PO can't be
purged. Have any users or 3rd party developers come up with a way of
purging unwanted data, specifically PO's??
