Qs about RFQs

I think he easiest way would be to set up an BAM to email
your sales guys that it has been accepted.

Or use the global alert 'RFQ response has been received',
but that would make them have to look up the information.

Not sure if you can set up your BAM email to capture this
info...you may be able to.

I completely understand this. But when an RFQ is
accepted, the
salesperson then finishes the Opportunity/Quote by using
the
worksheet. This includes the "accepted" RFQ amount. My
salespersons
need to know that an RFQ has been accepted so they can
finish the quote.

Thanks,
Ben

We are about to start using RFQs for Outside processing within
vantage. For those of you who use this feature, how does the
salesperson get notified that an RFQ has been accepted so he can
finish the quote?

Thanks!

Elaboration -

When you create an RFQ, you send this to your Vendors for
quotes.

When your Vendor 'responds' to your quote with information,
either a no quote or a price with maybe some price breaks,
then you would enter this information under vendor responses
(at least in version 6.1....cannot say in other versions).
