I’m curious how many DMT licenses other companies have. Our Epicor rep is telling us that we need 30 concurrent user DMT licenses, the same as what we have for all the other modules. Is this right??
In ERP 9 we just had 1 DMT license, which is all we want.

‘Need’ is different than what sales will sell you. I’d argue just a handful is needed, and after a go live where you need concurrent uploads, you need even less. I looked at our maintenance, and we’ve got the same # of seats for DMT as there are office licenses.

Hopefully the per license cost is much lower for 2021 vs one license in 9. Ours is pretty cheap, but that’s multiplied by 150 seats…
We have 2 DMT licenses. One for me and one for the only other Admin in the company who is allowed to use it. We don’t give access to it because it is very easy to screw up the whole system with it. All requests must come through and be executed by us.
